Just Kidding! This isn’t your Every Day Natural Smokey Eye! That being said, I wouldn’t mind wearing this Smokey Eye every day! Most People get pretty nervous when it comes to using a darker eye shadow across your lid. Sometimes you can come out looking like a raccoon or too dramatic. I think though, if you practice it won’t seem so terrifying. For this look I just stuck to one palette to make everything easier to follow. I also wanted to show you that you don’t need to go out and buy a brand new black eye shadow to achieve this look.
To create this look I just used the Morphe 350 Palette. My tip for Smokey eyes, is to make sure you are blending and building. You never want to just start out with the dark eye shadow. Go in with some transition shades before making the leap to black. It’s okay to get a little bit messy with this look because it gives it more of a runway look if its not perfect. I went ahead and brightened my inner eye with a little highlighter just to give a little contrast. I would suggest some bold lashes with this look to make your eyes look a little wider and more awake. Next I used a nude liner in my water line to make sure my eyes didn’t get too small. Doing this, gives the illusion that your eyes are larger so that the black doesn’t enclose your entire eye.
