Do you really need a $50 foundation? That’s the question I kept asking myself as I was checking out at Macys. Is it worth $50? It better cure my pimples for costing that much. I was Going back and forth and back and forth until my finger clicked check out and there it was, on it’s way to my house. So here it is, my Diorskin forever fluid foundation SPF review.
Look at that packaging! Already I can tell this is going to be a luxury item. It’s simple yet chic and very classy. I’ve never purchased any products from the Dior skin line so I was very curious as to what it would be like. When I think of most Luxury brand makeup items I feel that they just slapped their name on crappy makeup so that they could inflate the price. Cough Cough Marc Jacobs. I pop off the lid, which I struggled to try and twist it off for a good 30 seconds, revealing a pump. I love pump tops because it’s way easier to keep the product last longer and keep it more hygienic. Unlike the Clinique Beyond perfecting which has a wand.
I finally got the pump going and out came what you , if you were blind, would have mistaken as perfume. I mean it hits you! It smells so amazing though. So Luxurious, and kind of reminds me of an old rich lady. You know the ones who wear way to much perfume but spend their days shopping at Barneys? So this makes me hope I really don’t have to use a lot of the foundation or it might give me a headache.
Let me tell you that I am in IN LOVE with this foundation. My skin is very problematic and I have red patches come and go as they please, but this covers all of them. A little goes a very long way. The color online is very true to what is in the product. The next best part is that it has SPF 30 in it. So you can wear this when you’re going to be in the sun and not worry about applying a sunscreen or shading your face. It says it has shine control, I haven’t noticed it keeping my face less shiny but I don’t really mind if my face looks shiny.
If you are looking for a beautiful finish but full coverage I would suggest this product to you. If you are looking for a little less coverage I would try applying with a synthetic brush instead of a beauty blender to get that achieved flawless look.
Have you guys tried this? Let me know! What would you like to see next? I hope you enjoyed reading this and don’t forget to subscribe and share.
