A good bronzer can take your boring basic look to a snatched and ready for the day type of girl. The wrong bronzer can take you from snatched to “I can see that fake tan, you aren’t fooling anyone” type of girl. Bronzers are there to warm up your face and give your face some dimension. Now, don’t get bronzers confused with contour shades. However, you can use both at the same time. I’ll explain a little more in detail but keep reading to know what My Favorite Bronzers are.
First off, the way to use bronzer and contour colors together is to stick your contour only where you want to create that shadow. So, in the hollows of your cheeks, the very bottom of your jaw, your nose, and maybe a little under you bottom lip to give that fuller affect. If you place your contour where you place your bronzer you will end up looking very muddy. It won’t give you the look that you were going for. However, if you place your contour in the above areas and then go in with a bronzer you will achieve that summer glorious look.
Once your contour is complete take your bronzer and create almost a “C” on the sides of your face. On your cheek bones all the way up the sides of your forehead. Doing this gives your face some definition but also keeps you looking nice and tan. Have you ever looked at your face once you applied foundation everywhere and thought “when did casper the ghost get in here”? This is because you need some definition. Trust me you aren’t the only person who has felt like that. So over the years I have found very few bronzers that I am in love with and I want to share them with you. Let me know if you guys have tried these or if you love them as much as I do! Thanks for reading, don’t forget to subscribe!
